Tall Girls and Women are Fantastic!!
by Don
I wrote a note to a 5' 11" tall teen girl some other place here. I hope Jene' doesn't mind, but I'm going to take up a little more space.
I feel I'm kinda of an authority on tall women/girls, because I've been married to my wife Donna (6' 1") for 31 years. Some of the stuff I'm going to write here I wrote in a different place, but I want everyone to see it.
Your different from many of the others, and this is what a bunch of us guys like. Donna had to put up with the teasing in her school but in mine we adored tall girls, the taller the better.
Terry is a girl I went to school with. She was every bit 6' 1" - 6' 2". The guys stared at her whenever we seen her because she was tall, beautiful, and proud. She wore heels, walked with her back straight and it was easy to tell that she loved being tall.
As I said in another place here, if your friends are uncomfortable with your height, find new friends. Don't crouch when your with friends or walking down the hall...stand straight! If your adventurous put on some heels and really show that you want to standout from the others because you know you're special.
I know you think your being stared at because your different, but I'm telling you that many times the guys are staring because your lovely and have much more to offer than short girls. Remember this, kids are rude...period! You don't have to be tall to be teased. If kids think they're getting the best of you, tall, short, average or otherwise, they will not stop. I know one of the most popular teasing terms for talls is, "how's the weather up there". Say something like, "if your weren't such a shrimp you wouldn't have to ask would ya?", then smirk and walk away. When you hear teasing terms, remember them, go home and think of a good come back. If you have good come backs, guys won't take a chance of looking like a fool in front of their friends, so it should stop, or they may say something just to hear your come backs, and you just might become popular for your wit.
I hope I've helped a little. I know it's really tough sometimes, but try to use whatever you have as an advantage. Words can be you best friend if you use them correctly.
