Tall Women are Getting Better!

My mom is a tall woman, and seemed even taller when she was young (50ties). She suffered because colleagues at school used to make jokes and she couldn't use tall heels because she would be taller than all the guys.

But she won a small beauty contest and began to feel proud of her height.

I grew up with her telling me that tall is beautiful and even if I felt uncomfortable sometimes while being the taller in elementary school class (after a couple of years some guys out grew me) or when there was a short guy that pleased me, most of the times I was comfortable with my "tallness".

The maximum test I had while coming to live in Sardinia (Italy) and went together with my husband, through the small hinterland centers to invite old auncles to our marriage. There were women that were quite half of me and looked and starred at me! Do you know what I use to do? I used high heels!

Now I have a tall daughter...she is now 16 and sometimes does not feel like using heels because of the guys height. But...recently she has been in disco and...bought extra high heels! Wow! What a victory!
