Top 10 Most Inspiring Tall Women!

Let's Talk About Inpiring Tall Women...

Hi Jene' here.... I found some wonderful Tall Women Websites! I scoured the web to try and find the most Inspiring Tall Women.

After reviewing hundreds of websites, links and pages, I put together this top ten list of some of the most inspiring tall women in the world. Of course, this is the best of all tall women websites. (o.k maybe I'm biased;-)

I think more of these tall inspiring women need websites. Of course there are other websites out there but....

I only wanted the best.

This is for all you tall girls, I hope you find these wonderful women as inspiring as I did:

Sandy Allen: Sandy is an inspiration! Her program for kids tells them it's "It's OK To Be Different!" You can learn more about her program for kids by checking out this article at Education-World.com . Sandy has many movie credits and is considered The Second Tallest Woman in the World. She is a proud 7'7 1/4" tall.

Anne Donovan: Anne is a three time Olympian, a member of the Basketball Hall of Fame, and the fiery retired coach of the WNBA team the Seattle Storm. She's candid about the stories of growing up as a tall woman and a true inspiration in her accomplishments. She holds all this character and accomplishment in her 6'8" stature.

Kara Wolters : A touching and inspiring tall women website. Kara is one of only six women basketball players in the world to hold championships in the NCAA, the WNBA, and the Olympics. In 1998 she started the Kara Kares Foundation to fund brain tumor research in honor of her sister Katie. Kara talks honestly and openly about the trials of dating and relationships for tall women. Her charismatic nature and bright smile is truly inspirational. She is a glowing presence at 6'7".

Carolyn Moos : In 2001 Carolyn was drafted to the WNBA team the Phoenix Mercury, then played professionally in France. She returned to the WNBA in 2002 to play for the Miami Sol. Carolyn has a B.A. from Stanford University and a Masters from USC focusing on preventative health and is completing her R.D. She is now an ACE Certified Nutrition Consultant and Personal Trainer with a Golf-Training Specialist Certificate and... she teaches yoga. (Wow! what doesn't she do? Awesome!) She is the founder of FITT4Life, which is a four step healthy lifestyle rebuilding process. She has a unique and intellectual view on being tall and being a women. Carolyn's achievements and inner determination shine through her 6'5" stature.

Lisa Leslie: Lisa went from a star high school basketball player, to a gold medal in the 1996 Olympics, to star of the WNBA team the Los Angeles Sparks. Lisa is a mother, a professional athlete, a business professional, and inspiration to us all. She is full of character and life, and makes it a point to be great role model for all you 6'5" girls out there and all of her fans.

Monique Ambers: Monique is quietly climbing in stature and accomplishment. She is my kind of tall women. Making a difference through her actions and without a bit of showboating. She was a WNBA player, coach, and great role model. In my eyes, her most admiral accomplishment is her 1993 Bachelors degree in Child Development. Go Monique, you know what is important in this world! She stands 6'4" tall and confident.

Laurie Dhue: Laurie may be a political risk here for some of you, but I'm not interested in politics. I'm interested in accomplishment and setting the stage for hope. (Back to Laurie...) Laurie holds a Bachelors of Science in Political Science from the University of North Carolina. She is an anchor and reporter for Fox News. Her segment "The Dhue Point" is a testament to her desire to accomplish something meaningful with life. She is an accomplished 6'4" tall woman on a sunny morning.

Gabrielle Reece: : A great tall woman's website! All I can say is WOW! Gabrielle makes no qualm about it! She has a distinct and strong opinion. She is not afraid to share it with the world. Her straight and unique perspective is much of what Tall Women Revolt is all about (although getting in touch with your "masculine" side is not how I would put it). She is or has been a US Volleyball star, a model, and a voice of passion. As Gabrielle says, "There is nothing more attractive than a tall person standing up straight." She stands "liberty" tall at 6' 3".

Lindsay Davenport: Linsay is a professional tennis player. Lindsay has made over $21,000,000 in prize money in her carreer. Lindsay is redemption embodied. Lindsay says, "I wasn't perfect at 17. I was hunched over and real embarrassed." Lindsay took the 1998 U.S. Open in New York like Liberty herself. At 6' 2 1/2" her modesty and grace is outstanding. Go Lindsay!

Melissa Garrett: As Melissa says. It's "More than meets the eye... SQUAT, PRESS, PULL, EAT, SLEEP, REPEAT..." Melissa can lift 570 pounds! She is an inspiration of grit and perseverance at 6'2". She is at home in the kitchen or the construction site. She's currently looking for sponsors and encouragement goes a long mile, so if you have a MySpace website account go give Melissa the power of support !

Wow! Who would have known?
