Yeah I'm Tall, and I DO Play Basketball

ok. soo im 6'0 and yes, i do play basketball. being tall is soooo hard cuz i can never find clothes that fit right. the other day, i tried on a dress and the fitted waist hit me way too high. then the a-line skirt looked terrible and didn't highlight my middle at all... and dayumm i work hard for my abs! soooo if anyone knows a good place to find clothes for tall girls... please tell me!!! thanks.

okay- i live in the UK, but you could probably order to the US...

I recommend 'Long Tall Sally'. Google it. It's quite expensive, but REALLY good quality, and they do gorgeous jeans and often really nice tops/dresses etc.
I'm 6'3'' and 14, but a SMALL in LTS...I've never been a 'small' in any other shop in my life! The sleeves are always nice and long, yet the tops don't go 'out' as you get a bigger size, which means you aren't wearing clothes for big people- just tall. :)

You don't need to necessarily shop at Tall stores. I have had a lot of success over the last 5 years shopping Eddiebauer.com and Jcrew.com online. Both have pants with 35in. inseams and Tall size shirts, coats and sweaters. I buy most of my clothes online from them on clearance and they fit me great. I am 6ft.tall. They also have shoes up to size 12. Also, another great website for good shoe prices is www.6pm.com they carry shoes up to at least size 12. Good luck to you. I do think there are a lot of tall girls now. Every generation seems to grow taller so as a 40 year old woman I am not feeling as tall when I run into the occasional tall teenage girl. I think it will be easier for you than it was for me especially when it comes to finding shoes and clothes. Just consider yourself above average.
